It’s hard to date when you are a single parent

Being a single parent has its effects on people no matter how much we wished it hasn’t. And in a tricky field that is dating, the effects become so much more visible.

For example, the constant lack of free time is one of the most prominent problems of a single parent. The daily grind is just so crushing and so time-consuming that we don’t have the time to put our thoughts together, let alone try to date. The possibilities are many, but they all have their downsides as well as upsides. Perhaps your worst option would be to go to a bar trying to meet someone. You are not looking for a one-night stand anymore. Once you meet someone, you need to take things slow. That is also one of the effects of being a single parent. Your lack of time and your need to get things wrapped up as fast as possible might be too much for some people. Also, you might also feel the need to fill the void left by the departure of your previous partner, but you do not wish to let it on. Also, when you get to the point when you are introducing that someone new to your child, you need to make sure that this person is worth it. Also, prepare your child beforehand; do not just throw them in together like gladiators.
